Can I actually get married at the hotel?

We have 2 licensed spaces here at the hotel, our Stratton Suite & The Lawn both for up to 80 guests.

 

Do you have a Bridal Suite?

Our stunning bridal suite has its unforgettable copper bath (perfect for getting ready shots) along with dual aspect views over our walled garden and the Bathurst estate. 

 

Do I have to have my wedding ceremony and reception at the hotel, or can I just book it for our wedding reception?

Our motto is, your day, your way. Therefore, you choose what you’d like to take place where, we can hold any part of your ceremony, wedding breakfast, evening reception or all together as a package.

 

Do you offer civil partnership ceremonies?

Yes, we accommodate for all types of ceremonies 

 

What is the largest number of wedding guests we can have at the hotel?

Our Stratton Suite can accommodate up to 80 guests during the day and 120 for the evening.

 

What is the smallest wedding you can accommodate at the hotel?

With us being your witnesses the smallest can be 2 people. 

 

Can you recommend a florist and other wedding suppliers?

Yes, we can! Take a look at our recommended suppliers list or talk to our wedding co-ordinator so they can recommend someone that will suite your wedding style.

 

How many guests can you accommodate to stay at the hotel for our wedding?

The hotel itself has 43 bedrooms, a mixture of doubles, superiors and deluxe feature rooms. We offer a preferential discount for your guests that book directly. 

 

Can we stay in the hotel on our wedding night?

Yes, our beautiful bridal suite is the perfect room (subject to availability) 

 

Can the bride or groom get ready at the hotel before the wedding?
Our Bridal suite or any other bedroom is available to be booked the night before and the night of your wedding. The room provides the perfect backdrop for photographs the morning of your wedding. 

 

Can we design a bespoke wedding package with you?

Yes, we can put together a bespoke package designed just for you and your partner. 

 

Can you organise all of the wedding suppliers for us?

We have a wide range of suppliers we can suggest and recommend, however we do suggest that the organisation of these is the bridal parties responsibility. 

 

Can you accept dogs or other pets to take part in our wedding ceremony?

We are a pet friendly hotel and this does extend to our Stratton Suite. 

 

Can we use confetti?

Yes, confetti shots can be on the grass in the garden. Our garden is a beautiful space, to keep this the confetti must be biodegradable or dried petals.

 

Do you do weekday discount or wedding offers?

If you would prefer to marry on a weekday, we offer a wonderful discount of 15% off of our packages.  We occasionally create off-season wedding promotions too.

 

Who are our Registrars?

The hotel comes under Gloucestershire Registrars Service, we work closely with them to provide our beautiful licensed spaces

 

Can we decorate the Stratton suite?

The Stratton Suite is a beautiful neutral space that can be decorated in many ways. Our events team love seeing each individual couples décor of the room. 

 

Are you located in the Cotswolds?

Yes our wedding venue is located a couple of miles outside the beautiful Cotswold Town of Cirencester.
