Exciting new refurbishment for Stratton House

We’ve got some exciting news to share! We have now successfully completed phase one of our exciting £1.2m refurbishment programme.
Aidan and Sarah Stevens took over ‘Stratton House’ in Cirencester in the summer of 2016, and since then have been working through a refurbishment programme to transform the Georgian hotel.
Eighteen of the forty-two bedrooms were first to get the makeover treatment. The drawing room and twelve more bedrooms, including our luxurious Bridal Suite, are currently being refurbished and will be completed by mid June.
We also have plans to update the reception area, bar and restaurant, as well as other public areas, so keep an eye out here for more updates.
The bedrooms already refurbished are a mixture of our ‘Comfy’ and ‘Splendid’ room categories. Most of the Splendid rooms include quirky features such as rolltop baths, fireplaces and views over our beautiful walled garden. The comfy rooms are comfy by name but stylish by nature, including luxurious super king size beds and contemporary bathrooms. Take a look at our Breaks & Offers page to see our great deals on these rooms.
The hotel itself will have an elegant and modern style that most people look for in a country hotel and it’s sure to put Stratton House back on the map as a leading hotel in the Cirencester area. The support from the local community has been fantastic, with lots of positive feedback on the changes so far and new guests are being attracted to Stratton House.
With this refurbishment we will be focussing on providing the best experience we can with as little disruption as possible as our aim is to truly provide a friendly service with that personal touch in the heart of the Cotswolds.
We’ve been keeping our customers updated on facebook, so check out our page for the journey so far.
