Set in the heart of the Cotswolds the hotel originally dates back to the 17th century when it was the home of a leading local wool merchant. For the first day of your Christmas break at the Stratton House Hotel, be sure to arrive in time for the welcome afternoon drinks and canapés reception where you can chat with fellow guests and also the general manager and his team to discuss the Christmas events planned for the forthcoming days.

Your first evening of your Christmas break is filled with musical entertainment from local musicians whilst enjoying a fine 4 course dinner served with wine. On Christmas Eve on your Cotswolds break we arrange activity days out in Cirencester as well as within the local area including a Christmas themed Santa steam railway trip. Alternatively, if you're looking for a more relaxed Christmas Eve, consider our morning tea and afternoon coffee sessions back at the hotel followed by a relaxing four course dinner. Once the exciting antics of Christmas Day morning are over you will be served a grand, traditional five course Christmas dinner. After a spot of afternoon tea this will lead onto the evening's entertainment of local musicians playing relaxing music whilst indulging on our chef's display buffet. Boxing Day is officially panto day at the Stratton House so it's off to the local theatre in Tewkesbury for a traditional pantomime to see such favorites including 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Peter Pan'.

Once your Christmas Break in the Cotswolds has come to an end, you can still take advantage of our 'St Nicholas Breaks' where you can stay for an additional two nights from only £60 per person per night.

2. To confirm your reservation please complete, sign and return the reservation form together with the appropriate deposit of £100 per person.We reserve the right to release the accommodation if booking forms are not received within 7 days.
3. The final balance of your package is due prior to 1st November 2008. If you are paying by credit card, please note that the final amount will be automatically charged to your card on that date.
4. All reservations made after 1st November 2008 must be fully prepaid at the time of booking.

Information & Programme Changes

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided in this brochure, please note that Forestdale Hotels cannot accept responsibility for changes in the programme which are beyond our control. In the unlikely event of any programme not meeting the minimum number of people (15) Forestdale Hotels guarantees to the client to offer either an alternative programme in another destination or a full refund.Where wine is included in the package we serve half a bottle, per person, of our excellent house wine with a choice of red or white.

Booking Conditions

Deposits and Payments: Reservations are only confirmed on receipt of deposit of £100 per person. Final payment must be received prior to 1st November 2008. Any reservations made after this date must be fully pre-paid at time of booking. It is your responsibility to adhere to deposits, final payments or full prepayments. Whilst we will endeavour to collect these monies, should they fail to be sent in time, you will lose your reservation and monies paid. Please note that monies paid are non-refundable.

Guaranteed Prices: Christmas and New Year holiday prices are guaranteed for the duration of the brochure, unless there is a change in the rate ofVAT which is currently 17.5%.

Dress Code

In all the hotels, dress code is smart casual. In some cases, fancy dress is optional for dinners. At Ardsley House Hotel, Lyndhurst Park Hotel, Winchester Royal Hotel, Carrington House and Pratt's Hotel for the New Year's Eve parties, ladies are requested to wear evening dresses and gentlemen are requested to wear DJs.
